Who is 64k Software?

David Anderson. I have have more than 20 years experience working with computers, clients, and custom solutions. In my day job, I do content strategy.

What does the name mean?

When I started working with computers, 64k of RAM was the ne plus ultra. The first computer I owned had a whopping 2k of RAM. I used 64k computers (Atari 800XL, Radio Shack Color Computer, Commodore 64) for years before owning a PC clone.

Why should you trust me?

• I program microcontrollers to control analog music synthesizers and build doorbells that play mp3 files
• I also build database applications like the content strategist program you're interested in
• I loathe building Flash apps: they're too much of pain in the ass for the return
• I believe that content is still king.
• My day job is in higher ed.
• I know how difficult it is just to buy a book in higher ed. Individual apps for my colleagues should be free.
